NMDC's iron ore output in July surges 31% YoY

National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC), India's largest state-owned iron ore producer, produced 4.06 million tonnes of iron ore in July, rising by a significant 31.4% from the same month last year, the company's latest monthly production and sales report showed.

The 4.06 million-tonne volume also marked the miner's highest July production on record. The robust on-year growth was primarily driven by its Chhattisgarh operations, which produced 2.55 million tonnes of iron ore in the past month, up by 34.9% from a year earlier.
