Ripples continue from coal mine accidents, stoppages in China

Market concerns over stricter supervision of mine operations in the future had strengthened of late in the wake of new mines accidents and work suspensions for safety checks, Mysteel Global has learned.
Two accidents occurred last Friday alone, the first being a gas outburst at an anthracite mine in Lianyuan in Central China's Hunan province, as Mysteel Global reported. While most of the 52 workers underground at the time of the accident had returned to the surface safely, search and rescue
