Baltic dry index slips again after brief rally

Imported Iron Ore Global Shipment
The Baltic Exchange's main sea freight index, a key benchmark for global dry bulk shipping rates, snapped a two-day winning streak on August 18, dropping to its lowest level so far this month.
The overall index declined by 63 points, or 2.2%, from the previous session to settle at 2,815 points. This followed a modest gain on August 17, when the index rose 15 points to close at 2,878.   The Capesize index, which tracks vessels typically hauling 150,000-tonne cargoes such as iron ore
