South Korean stainless exports jump 22% MoM in July

South Korean stainless steel exports rebounded sharply in July, propelled by a surge in hot-rolled coil shipments, while imports headed lower, according to data from the Korea Customs Service.

The country's total stainless exports reached around 100,400 tonnes last month, jumping 18,300 tonnes or 22.4% month-on-month, though the volume still contracted 8.1% from a year earlier, the data show.
