On August 18, Sichuan Chuanhong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. held a cell production equipment arrival ceremony, as a batch of core cell production equipment was successfully delivered to its standardised factory facilities. This milestone marks the official entry of the Yuan 1.5 billion major new energy project into the critical stage of equipment commissioning and production ramp-up.
According to project details, the new lithium-ion battery Southwest production base, invested and constructed by Chuanhong New Energy. The project plans to establish a 10 GWh annual production capacity new energy battery production line, to be steadily advanced in two phases.
Currently, overall project progress has exceeded 95%, with interior finishing and supporting facility construction in their final stages. The coming period will see comprehensive equipment installation, precision commissioning, and trial production efforts, as the project pushes towards its official production target. Upon reaching full capacity, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of Yuan 3.5 to 4 billion.
