GACC: China's Jan-Jul ferrous scrap imports jump 31% YoY

China's imports of ferrous scrap during January-July this year totalled 204,220 tonnes, higher by a large 31.4% compared with the same period last year, according to the latest statistics from the country's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

In July alone, China's ferrous scrap imports jumped 14.9% on year to reach 24,935 tonnes.
