On August 31, a delegation from Nepal's Golyan Group visited JA Solar's Beijing headquarters. On the same day, the two parties signed a project cooperation agreement and a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU), marking the formal upgrade of their collaboration from a single-scope module supply arrangement to a strategic partnership covering project development, AI data centers (AIDC), energy storage, and operation and maintenance (O&M), among other areas.
Under the agreement, the parties will engage in multi-tiered cooperation in the photovoltaic and broader clean energy sectors across Nepal and other mutually agreed markets. The collaboration encompasses product supply, project development, local capacity building, and long-term services, with the scope of cooperation to be gradually expanded in line with market developments.
