According to the Zhijiang Municipal People's Government, construction of the BYD new energy industrial project at the Yaoganggang Chemical Industry Park is progressing at full steam. The project is being implemented by Yichang BYD Battery Co., Ltd., with a planned total investment of Yuan 372 million, covering approximately 5.3 hectares, and will primarily consist of production lines for 120,000 tonnes of electrolyte and new energy materials per year. Once fully completed and operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of Yuan 1.5 billion.
