POSCO, BHP sign formal deal to test hydrogen steelmaking with Australian ore

South Korean steelmaker POSCO and Australian mining giant BHP have formalized their partnership to advance hydrogen-based steelmaking, signing a cooperation agreement on September 3 to trail BHP's Pilbara iron ore in POSCO's HyREX process, according to POSCO's Thursday news release.
