On September 3, Shida Shinghwa Advanced Material Group announced via a public filing that its majority-controlled subsidiary, Shenghua New Material Technology (Lianjiang) Co., Ltd., plans to invest in the construction of a 200,000-tonne lithium battery electrolyte project. The project carries an estimated total investment of Yuan 687 million and is scheduled for a construction period of 12 months.
Upon completion, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of Yuan 5.441 billion. The company stated that the project is strategically positioned in close proximity to its core customers, offering significant locational advantages. This positioning is expected to strengthen the company's risk resilience and market competitiveness, while also contributing to sustainable profit growth.
