Shenhua pins H1 output drop on mine relocations, weak inland demand

China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd., the listed flagship of the state-owned energy giant China Energy Investment Corporation in Beijing, has attributed a 3.6% fall in first-half coal output to a combination of mine-level disruption and soft demand in its inland markets, telling investors at a September 4 results briefing that the setback is temporary.
