China imports of unwrought cobalt down 4.10% MoM in August 2026

China's imports of unwrought cobalt in August 2026 totaled 1,011.301 tonnes (equivalent to 1,009.28 tonnes of cobalt metal at a 99.8% grade), down 4.10% month-on-month but up 134.47% year-on-year. The import value for the month was approximately US$52.336647 million, with an average import price of US$51,751.80 per ton. From January to August 2026, China's cumulative imports of unwrought cobalt reached 9,774.77 tonnes.
