China MTBE exports down 13.51% MoM in Aug

China's MTBE exports fell 13.51% MoM to 561,100 tonnes in August 2026. Cumulative exports for Jan-Aug reached 5 million tonnes, up 86.64% YoY. September exports are forecast at around 630,000 tonnes, up 12.28% MoM.

The General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) data show China's MTBE exports reached 561,100 tonnes in August 2026, down 87,700 tonnes or 13.51% from July.
