Trina Solar has officially announced that it signed a supply agreement with PetroGreen Energy Corporation of the Philippines to supply Vertex N-type 700W+ large-format modules for its Bugallon PV power plant. Leveraging its leading N-type i-TOPCon technology, the company will support the deployment of local utility-scale PV projects, continuously contributing to the Philippines'clean energy transition and further deepening its market layout in Southeast Asia.
The Bugallon PV power plant is located in Pangasinan Province, the Philippines. The project has recently officially obtained a Certificate of Compliance issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission of the Philippines. After the plant is commissioned, it is expected to generate approximately 51 GWh per year on average and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 36,000 tonnes annually.
