CONF: China's financial institutions urged to support steel sector transformation

Financial institutions need to adapt their services to support China's steel industry as it enters a new phase of transformation, with changes in demand, rising carbon costs and a more challenging overseas trade environment reshaping the sector, according to Li Wenshi, executive vice president of China Minsheng Bank, the country's first privately held commercial bank.
