Taiwan CSC's Aug carbon steel sales slump 22% MoM

The total volume of carbon steel products sold by China Steel Corp (CSC), Taiwan's top integrated steel producer, declined substantially in August to reach 548,306 tonnes, dropping by 156,183 tonnes or 22.2% compared with the prior month, according to the company's latest release on its website.
