CISA: Members' daily crude steel output drops in late Sept

Daily crude steel output among the member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) decreased mildly during September 21-30, with the tonnage slipping by 2.1% or 41,000 tonnes/day from the middle ten days of last month to average 1.88 million t/d, according to the latest release from the association on October 11.

Based on the same dataset, the association estimated that daily crude steel output among both member and non-member mills nationwide averaged 2.35 million t/d in late September, dropping by the same 2.1% from the middle ten days of the month, the same release indicated.
