CISA: Members' daily crude steel output recovers in early October

Daily crude steel output among the member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) during October 1-10 rose by 3.1% or 58,000 tonnes/day from the last ten days of September to average 1.94 million t/d, according to the latest release from the association on October 15.

Despite the production gain, average daily output was lower by 4.6% compared with the same ten days of last year, the release showed.
