NBS: China's Jan-Sept pig iron output drops 3% YoY

China's pig iron production during January-September totalled 628.44 million tonnes, lower by 3% compared with the same period last year, according to the latest data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The decrease was slightly faster than the 2.9% on-year fall in China's crude steel output during the same period, as Mysteel Global reported.
