NBS: China's Jan-Aug pig iron output falls 3.1% YoY

China's pig iron production during January-August totaled 563.4 million tonnes, lower by 3.1% compared with the same eight months of last year, according to the latest data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
