According to the Mudanjiang Municipal People's Government, the Jingsheng LMFP battery cathode new material project is progressing steadily. The project focuses on lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP), a new-generation cathode material for power batteries, and will build a lithium battery new materials industrial base integrating technology R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and green production, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the city's new materials industry.
It is understood that the project is being built by Mudanjiang Jingsheng New Materials Co., Ltd., with a planned total investment of approximately Yuan 2.474 billion. It mainly involves the construction of a main plant building, a general warehouse, a solid waste warehouse, and other facilities, with a total floor area of 65,000 square meters. The project will build an intelligent production base with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes of LMFP cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. After reaching scale production, the project is expected to generate an output value of approximately Yuan 8 billion. Its products will be mainly used in batteries for new energy vehicles, drones, and other applications.
