China Sep refined oil exports down 4% MoM but still at yearly high

China's September 2026 refined oil exports reached 4.22 million tonnes, down 4.13% MoM but up 49.64% YoY. January-September cumulative exports totaled 22.22 million tonnes, down 17.12% YoY, completing 69% of the annual quota. A July-September rebound, driven by eased export controls and higher quotas, is expected to extend into October.
