JA Solar is assessing the impact of new US measures on polysilicon derivatives, which include a 15% tariff and a minimum price limit. The policy extends US trade pressure from modules into upstream material pricing and could raise compliance costs for Chinese suppliers serving US-linked projects. It may also push more US buyers toward non-China material or force Chinese producers to restructure shipment routes.
