China Three Gorges Corporation has launched the first procurement tranche for its 2027 PV programme. The tenders cover about 8 GW of fixed mounting structures, 6.67 GW of string inverters and 5.24 GWp of modules, with framework allocations running until June 30 2027. Inverters must reach level-1 energy-efficiency requirements under China's GB 47834-2026 standard, while modules must meet level-3 or above. The scale provides visible demand for Chinese module, inverter and mounting suppliers, and the efficiency rules favour higher-performance products while accelerating the phase-out of lower-tier equipment.
