On November 2, the annual 200,000-tonne high-end lithium-ion battery materials intelligent manufacturing project in Gui'an New Area has started construction.
The project is invested in and constructed by Gui'an New Area Kaijin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Kaijin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The enterprise focusing on the R&D, production, and sales of lithium battery anode materials, Kaijin New Energy's products feature high compaction density, high rate capability, and long cycle life, and are suitable for power batteries, energy storage batteries, and consumer batteries. Its customers include well-known domestic and international battery companies such as CATL, HiTHIUM, LG, and SKI. After the project is completed and put into production, it will strengthen the new area's new energy industry chain, expand the new materials industry cluster, and add new momentum to the high-quality development of Guizhou's new energy industry.
The project has a total investment of Yuan 3.555 billion, and will be built in two batches, with full completion and production expected in June 2028. After the entire line reaches full production, it is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of Yuan 5.5 billion and provide more than 800 jobs.
