DAILY: China's imported iron ore prices drop further

China's prices of imported iron ore for both port inventories and seaborne cargoes dropped further on May 18, with trading also relatively flat.
On Wednesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao slid by Yuan 27/wmt ($4/wmt) on day to reach Yuan 918/wmt FOT and including the 13% VAT. On the same day, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also dipped by $2.45/dmt on day to settle at $127.35/dmt CFR Qingdao.   Buying among steelmakers
