2. Global composite steel price index stood at 202.3 at the end of March 2018, flat with that of last month; long steel index was at 235.8, decreasing 3.7 points month-on-month; flat steel index ended at 191.3, moving up 2.3 points.
3. China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) launched the index in April 2001, which is compiled on prices for eight steel products in 23 cities. April 1994 is the starting point with a base index of 100.
