WEEKLY: China blast furnace capacity use climbs to 91.9%

Blast furnace capacity utilization rate among the 247 steel mills across China under Mysteel’s survey continued to climb gradually for the ninth week over May 29-June 3, up another 0.48 percentage point on week to 91.89%, as the Chinese steel mills had been ramping up their output gradually amid further declines in finished steel stocks in general and recoveries in steel prices recently.
