DAILY: China import iron ore prices recover further

Chinese prices of imported iron ore for both port inventories and seaborne cargoes recovered further on August 27, and the trading for port inventories was relatively active.

On Friday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao gained another Yuan 15/wmt ($2.3/wmt) on day to reach Yuan 1,071/wmt FOT and including 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also climbed further by $3.3/dmt on day to $156.95/dmt CFR Qingdao.
