China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 4,445/tonne as of January 22, down Yuan 121/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 4,549/tonne today, down Yuan 11/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices went down slightly with the pour-in of low-priced domestic resources.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 29,421 tonnes on the previous trading day, down 12.22%. In detail, the sales volume was 13,482 tonnes in East China, down 6.28%, 6,636 tonnes in South China, down 14.59%, and 8,085 tonnes in North China, down 17.74%, according to OilChem's data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to rally in early February in anticipated supply cut as high auction price of feed gas to be delivered in early February would make some LNG plants suffer losses, and some will reduce or suspend the production for lack of feed gas supply.
