China's bauxite imports up 30% in Q1

China's total bauxite imports in Q1 were up 30% to 47.1 million tonnes, of which 77.3% came from Guinea and 16.6% sourced from Australia. The volume imported from Guinea rose by 34.8% to 36.4 million tonnes in the quarter.
