China's domestic bauxite prices firm on tight supply, seaborne ore prices edge down amid rising supply

Mysteel's daily assessment for Shanxi bauxite (AL:58%,A/S:5) was Yuan550/t on Nov 21, delivered price including resource tax, transportation fee, excluding 13% VAT. The price has remained flat for several months. Guinea bauxite (Al:45%,Si:3%) was assessed at $71.5/dmt, CIF Shandong, down $0.5/dmt from a week ago, while the assessment for Guinea bauxite (49%,Si:2%) stood unchanged at $76/dmt.
