WEEKLY: China's HRC export prices volatile, trades still dull

China’s hot-rolled coil (HRC) export prices were generally unstable during the week of July 28-August 1, trending lower initially then recovering before pulling back, Mysteel’s tracking showed, with the price for SS400 3mm HRC declining modestly by $3/tonne on week by last Friday to sit at $472/tonne FOB from North China's Tianjin port, according to Mysteel's assessment.
