South Africa's HC FeCr exports plunge 34% MoM in August

South Africa's exports of high-carbon ferrochrome (HC FeCr) totalled 80,400 tonnes in August, falling by an alarming 33.8% on month and marking an even sharper decline of 73.7% compared to the same month last year, data released by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) show.

Among the key destinations, shipments to China saw a significant rebound, surging by 100% month-on-month to 38,200 tonnes, the SARS data suggest.
