China's demolition ferrous scrap recycling falls to 8-month low

Steel Scrap Demand Price Supply
The volume of ferrous scrap recycled from construction and demolition sites in China declined sharply in October, as scrapyard operations slowed and demolition scrap prices moved downward, Mysteel's survey showed.
During the first three weeks of October, the 105 scrap recycling companies under Mysteel's tracking collected an average of 12,238 tonnes of demolition scrap per week, down 16.4% from September's weekly average and reaching the lowest level in eight months.
