MONTHLY: China's ELV recycling volume to drop further in January

Steel Scrap Demand Price Supply
The volume of ferrous scrap recycled from end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) in China is expected to continue shrinking this month as trading activity in the scrap market is seen cooling gradually, Mysteel's latest survey suggests.
Last December, a total of 31,816 units of ELVs were scrapped and shredded by the 85 Chinese automotive dismantling companies under Mysteel's tracking, lower by 5% from November and down by a substantial 37.3% on year.   By the end of December, the total number of ELVs stored at the yards
