Chinese prices of ferrous scrap continued softening during the past week albeit slightly as steelmakers' buying interest in scrap materials cooled, Mysteel's latest survey showed.

On November 14, Mysteel assessed China's national steel scrap price at Yuan 2,420/tonne ($340.9/t) including the 13% VAT, lower by Yuan 18/t or 0.6% from a week earlier.
