WEEKLY: China's rebar output rebounds by 4% on week

The total volume of reinforcing bars produced by the 137 Chinese steel mills that Mysteel regularly follows experienced an uptick over November 13-19 after a two-week decline, according to Mysteel's weekly survey.

These mills' combined rebar output came in at 2.08 million tonnes during the latest survey week, up by 4% or 79,600 tonnes from a week ago. Despite the on-week rebound, the volume was still lower by a marked 11.1% compared to the same week last year, the survey results
