WEEKLY: Aust., Brazilian iron ore shipments jump to 6-mth high

After falling in the previous week, the total volume of iron ore dispatched to global destinations from the 20 ports and 17 mining companies in Australia and Brazil under Mysteel's regular tracking rebounded to 28.9 million tonnes during December 8-14, rising by a significant 3.3 million tonnes or 13% on week to touch a six-month high. Shipments from both countries increased last week, the survey showed.
