DAILY: China's imported iron ore prices inch sideways at highs

Chinese imported iron ore prices for portside stocks and seaborne cargoes stayed high on January 14 despite minor changes, while transactions for both tracked apart the same day.
On Wednesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao edged up by a tiny Yuan 1/wmt on day to Yuan 831/wmt ($119/wmt) FOT and including the 13% VAT. On the other hand, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines dropped by a similarly small $0.35/dmt from Tuesday to $107.7/dmt CFR Qingdao.   Meanwhile, the most-traded iron ore contract
