GACC: China's Feb coking coal imports slump to 9-m low

China's coking coal imports from all sources in February plummeted to a nine-month low of 8.07 million tonnes, registering drops of 31.4% from January, the new statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) show.

The steep on-month drop reflected a typical slowdown of importing activities near the Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday that fell between February 15-23 this year.
