WEEKLY: China's BF mills' capacity use rises further to 86.6%

Ferrous Capacity Production
Production among Chinese blast furnace (BF) steelmakers continued to increase in the past week with more mills resuming operations from maintenance stoppages, according to Mysteel's survey.
The average capacity utilization rate among the 247 BF steel producers under Mysteel's tracking rose for the second straight week to reach 86.6% during March 20-26, higher by 1.1 percentage points from the previous week, with their combined hot metal production rising 1.3% on week to average 2.31 million
