DAILY: China import iron ore prices rise slightly, trades slip

Imported Iron Ore Price Trading
China's imported iron ore prices in the portside and seaborne markets both rallied on April 10, though the on-day increase was marginal. Trading activity in the two markets thinned.
On Friday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao inched up by Yuan 2/wmt ($0.3/wmt) from Thursday to Yuan 759/wmt FOT including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines rose as well on day, albeit by a tiny $0.1/dmt, to $106.35/dmt CFR Qingdao.   China's iron ore futures continued
