DAILY: Indonesian thermal coal firms on solid demand and tightening supply

Indonesian thermal coal prices held firm this week, buoyed by strengthening Chinese demand ahead of the summer peak season and tightening supply amid persistent production-quota uncertainty.

As of April 28, Mysteel assessed Indonesian 3,800 kcal/kg NAR thermal coal at $63.5/tonne FOB Kalimantan, up $0.5/t on day and $2/t on week.
