WEEKLY: China mills' import iron ore stocks climb slightly

Imported Iron Ore Inventory
Inventories of imported iron ore sintering fines held by Chinese blast-furnace (BF) steelmakers increased over the past week, as steel mills replenished the feedstocks to make up for their significant holiday drawdowns earlier, Mysteel's latest survey showed.
Total stocks of imported iron ore sintering fines at the 64 Chinese BF steel producers under Mysteel's tracking rose by 64,200 tonnes or 0.5% on week to 12.75 million tonnes as of May 13.   This increase, albeit small, marked a rebound from the intra-year low level recorded a week earlier
