Falling charges, rising costs cut H1 profits at most of China's listed power producers

Profits fell for most of China's listed electricity generators during this year's January-June half, squeezed by lower prices for their power and higher costs. A tally complied by Mysteel Global on September 9 counted 25 of the 38 listed generators controlled by central state enterprises that reported lower net profit.
