Yesterday, the cobalt salt market did not show a one-way trend. Both cobalt chloride and cobalt sulfate exhibited tentative directional shifts, but actual transaction activity remained under pressure. After a sharp jump the previous day, the cobalt metal segment shifted into high-level sideways trading, while the salt segment showed signs of marginal upward following. However, the feature of prices quoted without actual transactions was fairly prominent. The transaction side was the weakest link for cobalt chloride. Although quotations were tentatively raised, there was a lack of actual transaction volume to support them, and holders may face downward price pressure in actual negotiations. The effective negotiation level for cobalt sulfate did not rise noticeably despite minor quotation adjustments. Cobalt sulfate transactions were mostly in the middle of the range.
