The lithium carbonate futures price again posted large losses yesterday, with an intraday reduction of nearly 4% partly because the earlier support of sustained destocking started to weaken. Based on Mysteel's weekly tracking, the weekly lithium carbonate inventory across the industry chain posted a weekly contraction of 0.63%, much slower than the previous speed. Meanwhile, the GFEX warrants stopped falling and accumulated recently. In addition, though the lithium prices approached the break-even point of some marginal cost, it could hardly stage a rally unless production curtailment is observed.
