UPDATE: Pilbara coast ports re-open as Veronica gone

The Pilbara Port Authority (PPA) said late Tuesday that the ports of Hedland and Ashburton on Western Australia’s iron ore coast had re-opened following the retreat of Tropical Cyclone Veronica, and that the authority would further update the status of Dampier after completing an impact assessment.
Veronica left the Pilbara coast and was trending southwest as of 10:30 Australian Western Standard Time(AWST) on March 26, according to the real-time update from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. “There was no significant infrastructure damage at any of the ports, and operations will return to normal over the next 24
