DAILY: China import iron ore prices recover, sales down

Chinese prices of imported iron ore for both port inventories and seaborne cargoes recovered on September 3, while trading was lukewarm.

On Friday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao gained Yuan 6/wmt ($0.9/wmt) on day to reach Yuan 1,047/wmt FOT and including 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also climbed by $2.95/dmt on day to $142.8/dmt CFR Qingdao. During the day, some traders at Chinese portside iron ore markets raised their offering prices slightly
